Two months ago my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer and for that has stopped smoking. She became nervous, yell at everyone. She is depressed and frustrating and all of us (me and our kids) have to stay calm, not to mention anything. We’ve even stopped walking normally. It’s now more like we all do tip- toe walking around the house since it happened. Despite this, of course I want to help her but acting like this she refuses any help.

My advice is stop tip-toe walking around the house. Behave and talk normally just like she’s healthy. Of course she needs a special health care but this doesn’t means that all’ of you guys must stop breathing. Try to understand her and talk to her and even argue with her about her behaving. I’m sure pretty soon she will understand that easier way to fight such a serious disease is to be calm, not to get frustrated so that all her energy can be focused on fighting the illness instead of spreading it around.
