Hi, my toddler is pale and I believe that he has anemia. Can I give him some iron supplement, like syrup?

Hi, you can give him some medication but you can also supply more iron in the food. I gave my son iron drops, when he was no longer taking formula. Good sources of iron include red meats, fish, and poultry. Also, iron fortified cereals are recommended to increase intake of iron. Oatmeal is another important source, but it is said that iron from animal sources can be better used. Chinese people prefer to take tofu. If you still believe that intake is insufficient you can give him supplements.
