Dont know too much about a tonsilectomy. My baby is 21 months old and needs to have it done. Is she still too young for this? Do you know of any other babies that had it done?

My baby had a tonsilectomy when she was 23mths old due to frequent tonsillitus & febrile convulsions. She recovered extremely quick & had no problems whatsoever. In fact she was in hospital eating crisps within a few hours of having it done! Laughing

My little girl had a tonsilectomy performed at 23 mths old due to recurrent tonsilitus & febrile convulsions. She recovered extremely quick with no problems, infact she was eating crisps the same day!
