| Hi, I am 10 days post op from a tonsillectomy. im 18 female and feel pretty good, no longer on pain meds. however, not all my scabs have fallen off yet. My doctor said I should wait ten MORE day before drinking alcohol. However, I was wondering if i could possibly drink once ive hit the 14 day mark, just keep myslef hydrated while i do it. i feel as though my scabs will be gone, and the risk of bleeding is supposed to be little to none after 14 days. does anyone have any thoughts/experience? has anyone tried drinking before your doctor cleared it and had a bad experience? or has anyone had a good one? any posts would be great. thanks |
