| You should not take more vitamin then directed. Your body will not use up any extra of the vitamins and you will only end up eliminating them. If you are not eating fruits and vegetables, you need to start. Fruits and vegetables (preferrably organic) will provide you with the hundreds of thousands of vitamins that are found in these foods. Did you know there are over 10,000 natually occuring vitamins in 1 medium sized apple (these are vitamins that scientists have been able to identify to date, what about all the others they are still exploring). When we use a "one a day" it is fragmented (meaning only containing the ingredients the makers have on the label. If you eat the recommended intake of fruits/vegetables you are getting everything your body needs (and these needs change daily) everyday. You won't need to supplement. If eating the servings is difficult, then consider purchasing a "juicer". You can also consider using a whole food supplement that contains all the nutrition of the food it is made from (not fragmented). I personally use Juice Plus because it has scientific research behind it proving it gives you just about the same nutrition as if you ate the ingredients in their whole raw form. ***edited by moderator*** ***web addresses not allowed*** |
