i was wondering if anyone could help me i've i had sex with a condom, he clean his penis, and then we had sex again without a condom but he didnt ejaculate, we were worried that there coudl of been some seminal residue so i took plan b, and my period came over a week early and i will get it really heavy blood, then it will get almost nothing with some brownish looking blood. Can you tell me if this is normal?? Side effect from plan b?? Could i be pregnant?

| After taking plan B, many women get their periods up to 3 weeks early. This is a side effect. When you take plan B, your cycle gets confused and your period can be irregular for the next 2 months. Spotting is normal after taking plan B, and if you get your period early it is obviously a sign that you are not pregnant. Who would have thought that your period could be such a relief! If you are still worried that you're pregnant (which you most likely aren't) take a pregnancy test or see your doc. |

| It is normal to have spotting after taking Plan B, it is a common side effect. As for your period, many women get their period up to 3 weeks early after taking Plan B. This emergency contraceptive confuses your cycle and it could be irregular for up to 2 months after taking the pill. If you got your period, you aren't pregnant, but if you still have concerns, take a pregnancy test or see your doctor. |
