I think that I have allergic rhinitis. I suppose that I’m allergic to pollen. I’m not sure about that but I want to do something about my runny nose. My sister told me that I should try with combination of antihistamines and decongestants. Tell me is it good idea to try combination of antihistamines and decongestants for non-infectious rhinitides?

Yes, of course. The combination of antihistamines and decongestants are the most commonly used medications for allergic rhinitis. These medications help to alleviate nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing and itching. You can find them in many forms, tablets, nasal sprays, eye drops and liquids. Just be careful, they may cause side effects.
