I have used Palovia in the past, and it works pretty well for diminishing wrinkles and building collagen.  However, it did seem to cause some hyperpigmentation.  Has anyone noticed hyperpigmentation with the Tria Age-Defying Laser?

If you have dark skin, you may not be a good candidate for the Tria Age Defying Laser, as dark skinned people are more likely to suffer from hyperpigmentation after laser treatment.

If you are light skinned, here are some tips that will hopefully prevent hyperpigmentation:

- Plan your laser treatment mainly in the winter when your skin will not be exposed to so much sun, as sun exposure heightens the risk of hyperpigmentation.
- Don't tan before or after laser treatment.
- Always wear a sunscreen, regardless of the weather or temperatire.
