I am 34 years old and after several stressful years, all the problems I had ended with another, medical one. I am allergic to additives. What terms should I look for when reading ingredient labels? Should I eat refined food products or only fresh food? What are my options here? I admit that I am worried...

You should be very careful from now on, simply because it is hard to find the food product today that does not contain any of the additives, substances that preserve the food, color it, give it all sorts of flavors etc. Perhaps it would be much safer for you to eat fresh food, you will not have to worry in that case, or analyze the labels.
