Hello, folks. I have read a lot about polyunsaturated fat and how it is very important for preventing many diseases. In a word, it is good for health. I would like to know if more than 10% of calories as polyunsaturated fat is recommended. I would be very grateful if someone could answer me this. Thank you in advance.

Hi, there. You are right. Polyunsaturated fat is recommended for the benefit of our health. However, more than 10% of total calories are too much. About 7% of total calories are recommended as polyunsaturated fat. For monosaturated fat this percentage is 8. Saturated fat is recommended to be taken with 5% of total calories. So, you should be careful. I hope this helps. Good luck!
