I am thinking to become vegetarian but I have been heard a lot of different opinions about vegan health condition. Is it true that they may suffer of deficiency of different nutrients such as vitamins or minerals? Is there any difference if you are full vegetarian or semi-vegetarian? Is there anyone with experience?

As vegetarian food is poor or without meat there are some doubts about deficiency of specific nutrient such as calcium, iron, zinc, protein, vitamin D and vitamin B12. With appropriate daily intake and special care with supplementing of missing nutrients, there is no reason for fear that person will be in increased risk of suffering diseases that are not common for other people, non-vegetarians.
