Suggesting a watermelon to spice up your sex life may be a good idea as scientists from Texas find that this red fruit contains an ingredient that can spur the production of a compound that helps relax the body's blood vessels, similar to how Viagra works.

Eating watermelons may be a great way to relax blood vessels without having to put up with any drug side effects although it is not as organ-specific as Viagra is.

The only bad news is that a man would need to eat about six cups of watermelon to get enough of the key ingredient, citrulline, to experience any benefits.

Todd Wehner, researcher from North Carolina State University, says that no one taking Viagra should expect the same result from watermelon. Although it effects may be interesting , it should not be used as a substitute for any medical treatment.
