What is the difference in a mode of action between tramadol and the other analgesics?
I have been used non-steroidals for a long time, and I started to experience gastric symptoms last month. I want to change my therapy. I am interested in tramadol actavis. My friend said that it is as effective pain reliever as narcotics.

Tramadol is analgesic as effective as narcotics are in pain relieving. It has less potential for abuse and addiction. Tramadol doesn’t depress respiration like narcotics do. Non steroidals have increased risk of gastric ulcer, but tramadol doesn’t belong in a class of NSAIDs. This drug is used in management of moderate to severe pain. It is prescription drug.
