I would like to know how the hepatitis viruses transmitted are and what are high risk activities for transmitting hepatitis C? I am asking because I am planning to get a tattoo and my mom said that is very dangerous and that is very dangerous and that there is a high risk to get hepatitis C, or some other. Is it possible?

Tattooing and body piercing is dangerous if the using equipment is unsterile. Sharing of injecting equipment is highly risky as well s occupations where needles are used or exposure to the blood. Here is how hepatitis is transmitted: A is transmitted by water, food or hands contaminated by faces of an infected person. Hepatitis B is transmitted by exposure to infected blood, sexual fluids and saliva and C is transmitted by exposure to infected blood.
