trazodone first time

I took trazondone for the first time last night as a sleep aid. I took 30 milligrams and I hated it when I woke up. I was all groggy and disoriented and I felt like I couldnt wake up. I woke up all through the nite going to the bathroom. I never felt like I was in a deep sleep until after 6 a.m. I felt okay later in the morning and all day felt energized and good, but I had weird dreams 75% of the night and it seemed like almost all night. It was like I was asleep but conscious very weird. I also felt a little crampy and achy. I am afraid to take it again it's a good thing I didnt take it on a work night I wouldnt have made it to work .It's the first time I have ever taken anything like that. I have taken antidepressants before but I quit because it made me feel weird. I am going to the health store to get something or I might just take a half but it kind of freaks me out. Shocked

I did not take it tonight. I am going to call my doctor too. I read a lot of posts that and that concerned me also.
