| Hello. I am a guy 46 years old and I have a brother that has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. He has explained to me what this condition is, even dough I didn't quite understand everything well. Is this condition treatable? How is it treated? I would feel better if you could explain this to me. |

| Sorry to hear that. Basically it is a disease where the blood has difficulties to pump blood into other parts of the body. It is treated with medications such as Vasotec, Lisinopril, Zestril, Prinivil, Ramipril and others. It is treatable, but this condition is very serious so your brother should have a healthy lifestyle. |
