hi, there is no definite answer when it comes to restoring fertility following hormonal birth control, every woman is different. Some will regain their natural cycle and fertility virtually straight away, some others will take a little longer, this is particularly obvious in those that build up over a period of time such as depo injections which can take up to a year to be out of your system. There is nothing really that you can take to speed up this process, however if you are trying to conceive then the current recomendations are to ensure you are taking folic acid during this time and for the first three months of pregnancy, obviously follow a healthy lfestyle and when off the birth control try on a regular basis (2-3x a week) in order to coincide with ovulation which may be a little irregular to begin with, just adding to the frustration! if you are really concerned than speak to your doctor or family planning clinic for more advice . hope this helps.
