Hi Everyone,
I am new this this list, and hoping I could get some help Very Happy
I have been married almost 2 years and for the past 11 months I have been trying to get pregnant.
I take those fertility tests, so I know when the best time to try to concieve is. I really got my hopes up this month, as my period was later then it's ever been. I took 2 HPT and both were neg. I still thought I might be, till Aunt Flo shows up 5 days later. It was like a cruel joke, being so late this month! I usually range from every 29-33 days, this time it was on the 37th day.
I am wondering if any of you are trying to get pregnant and your emotions are going up in down? One day you think you are and your on top of the world, then the next you know your not and it's a big let down?
Also, is anyones menstural cycle always different each month as mine is?

A normal period comes from 28 to 45 days,. Some women get it every 21 days and still normal. I think you are ok because you have your periods between 29 to 33 days. Since you don't get your period exactly at the same number of days after the last one that could mean you are ovulating at different times in the middle of your cycle. A woman ovulates 14 days before her period so when you use your ovulation kit you should start testing eleven days after your period up until you get your LH surge. If you do this right after a year of take up to two years to conceive.

I understand exactly what you are talking about. My husband and I have been trying for over a year now and it sure has taken it's toll. Just when you think you have it all figured out, your body decides to make things interesting and switch things up a bit. My periods usually start around the same day, but vary on how heavy and light it is and on the length of time "aunt flo" sticks around. Frustrating! I can say that just recently, we decided to take a break from everything and I have gone from being on edge all the time to my old self again. This break is going well and my husband says he's happy to have me back again!
