when is the best time to try and become pregnant? any helpful hints?

The best time to get pregnant is when you're ovulating. If you don't know when that is, it's around the 14th day of your cycle. Your cycle begins the first day of your period.

The absolute best time to get pregnant is 72 hours before you begin ovulating. That way the sperm can sit in your uterus and are prepped for when your egg comes down the filopian tube.

If you feel you need extra help figuring out when you ovulate, there are ovulation tests that you can buy at drugstores and pharmacies.

Also, wait a year before you start seeking professional help in getting pregnant. It can take up to a year for a normal, healthy woman to get pregnant.
