Hi, my uncle is suffering from tuberculosis. It was diagnosed last week and right now he is in the hospital and his treatment has started. As he lived with his family are they in danger to get this disease too? I would like to know is tuberculosis very contagious disease and how it may be prevented.
Hi, there are several ways for tuberculosis prevention. First one is vaccination which has to be administrated to the babies several days after they were borne. This vaccine is called BCG. The other way is not to be in contact with sick person or to frequently aerate space where is sick person. Also it is very important to take minerals and vitamins and to keep your immunity intact because tuberculosis will not attack strong immune system.
