tuberculosis spread

Hi, my very good friend got tuberculosis. He visited his doctor last week and after he made several analyses tuberculosis was diagnosed. As we were spending some time together, in last few months, I am afraid that I will get tuberculosis too. Please, can you tell me which the main ways of tuberculosis spreading are?

Hi, my father was suffering from tuberculosis ten years ago. We were living together, he, my mom, my sister and I in our family house. No one else did get tuberculosis except him. Bacteria mycobacterium tuberculosis is not very contagious and may stay alive in outer space for a very long time. Tuberculosis usually attacks exhausted organisms or organism which is under immunosuppressive therapy.
