In some daily newspapers I have found the article about the tuberculosis. It was a long time ago but I think that I can remember some of its parts. It says that the tuberculosis is caused by a virus. My girlfriend, who is a nurse, claims that it can't be true because it is caused by bacteria. We had a little bet. Tell me who is right?

Well you should know that women are always right! I am joking of course. But your girlfriend is right. The tuberculosis is caused by bacteria belonging to the mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. This article you have been reading is wrote by someone with total ignorance about medicine. Or you have forgotten what you have read or you have mixed the articles. There is no such thing as tuberculosis virus.
