Hello there, I am a guy who is 23 years old. Recently I heard my friend talking about ultra marathon. I don't know anything about this event and I would like to ask you to tell me everything you know about it. How long is it by the way? I would appreciate every answer I get. Thank you all in advance.

Hi, there are many races that are called ultra marathons. Every race which is longer than conventional marathon is called ultra marathon. The distances in these races vary. The longest race is 3100 miles long and it is time limited. That time is 51 day and the record for that race is around 42 days. The stands for refreshments are on every 5-15 miles. The competitors might get refreshed or take a short rest in these places. That is about it.
