im nearlly 17..i first had sex about 3 months ago...shortly after that i had pain when i urinated and i just felt sore and uncomfortable.. so visited docs and they did tests which showed i had a urine infection. i had the tablets but now, weeks later it still feels uncomfortable and v. itchy at times. its also sore and red sometimes after sex. im presumin all of these troubles iv had is down to starting having sex..but i dont think it can be an STI etc as we always used protection. and surely if it was something like thrush it would have cleared by now?... anyway i had another urine test done and am awaitin the results... doc said if it isnt urine this time i should have swabs done to see... but im just really worried its something serious. any help or whatever ..tell me.

it might stil be a UTI so try stop having sex for a month..drink loads of water and hold th feeling to pee. if u feel you need to go..you go and not much comes out with a slight or very painful sting its UTI (urinary tract infec. )
if its your actaul vagina....its most likely down to hygiene.
sorry love but is your sex partner wasing his hands AND penis properly BEFORE intercourse? how bout his fingernails? are they short and clean?
i found if my man didnt wash his hands and went right on down my vag. would sting quite possibly for a few days.
if all else fails than u have another infection.
my vag also stings a bit after intercousre but this is normal. it goes away after a day.
