unprotected sex while on birthcontrol

OK so about 2 weeks ago me and my girlfriend we having sex [protected] and the condom broke! I dint know so i finished as usual and after we were done i realized it had broke. Shes on birth control and has been for at least 5 months. She says there is no way she can be pregnant because shes faithful to the pill. She is supposed to start her period today or yesterday but im worried as hell cna she be pregnant? and is it even ok to have unprotected sex while on birth control? i need help please asap

If she has been taking birth control for a while now, and she is consistent on them, you shouldnt have anything to worry about...BirthConrol is used to prevent pregnancy....

BC is NOT fail safe! Do not count on that single form of protection. I have a 14 yr old daughter who is living proof that BC alone does not always protect against pregnancy. Always use back up such as a condom, spermicide, or something else.

I agree with ImmortalOne, birthcontrol pills are taken to prevent pregnancy. However they are more affective if you use them along with condoms and such.....I to have known people to become pregnant while they are on the birthcontrol....One or the other must be used for backup incase one was to fail....Wish you both the very best in your life!!!
