unrinary infection in the sixth month or pregnency

My sister is pregnent and her sixth month is going on . She is having urinary infetion now and taking antibiotics. Is it a dangerous situation/what type of antibiotics are good for preganent womes? Is it halmful for babies? If the first course of antibiotics are not helpful to cure what is the next step? This is her first pregnency and a bit upset.
