For last few years I have had unusual visual symptoms. I have difficulty in holding objects steady in my vision and sometimes, so my vision seems to 'shimmer'. I have numerous tests done but they were normal and I don’t do drugs. I would like to hear from people with unsteady vision or with similar symptoms to share ideas.
I have the same symptoms as you do. Mine started 6 months ago and it happen everyday. I have the worst times in the morning, the shimmering, and a jerky motion at times when I am looking at something at a certain distance. I have seen specialists, but no one can tell me what is going on. It made me feel good to know that someone else has unsteady vision because I felt like I was crazy.
