You definately do not have anything to worry about, this is normal. When a period starts your uterous is shedding its lining, so for the first 3/4 days depending on how long you have a period for period the blood is bright red, then towards the end of your period, you are losing old blood, so it is brown in colour, then in some people it turns chocolate colour, dont worry you are perfectly normal
