unwanted periods on pill

i only just finished my first packet of the pill and i just began my second one without wanting to get my period although i still got it, i havent missed any pills or anything and have continued to take the active pill... what could this mean, is anything wrong?

if your bleeding doesn't stop, you might want to ask to be moved to a stronger dose.
