upper left abdominal discomfort ibs

I feel slight discomfort in upper left part of abdomen. I wonder if it is a symptom of IBS. Many of my friends have been diagnosed with IBS. I am worried that I might be having this condition too. I am 49, female.

Well, you should check this discomfort in your upper left side of abdomen. I’ll tell you what happed to me nine months ago. I had first mild then severe pain in upper abdomen which spread to the back. My wife called emergency and they determined that it is pancreatitis. So, you see that is possible too.
