Does anyone experienced upset stomach after morning coffee or maybe stomach ache after 2nd cup? I first cut out cream and sugar, but I still have this feeling. And yes, after 2nd cut I have reflux. It worries me because I have been drinking coffee for 10 years and I never had this problem.

My understanding is that it is not the coffee that causes the ache or reflux; it is the caffeine, so I would suggest you to start with decaf. Or if you cant leave the morning regular and rest of the day decaf. I sometimes get upset stomach after coffee, but only if it is on empty stomach, so take some food before coffee.

[I am having the same problem of late. I have been drinking coffee for decades but since heading into menopause it has certainly become worse......very difficult to give it up!!
