I am 2 months post-op from surgery to remove a reccurrent (2 yrs) tumor on my spinal cord. All went very well but partial saddle anesthesia which was present following the first such surgery is now more extensive and seems to have affected my bladder. Surgeon refered to a urologist and am awaiting the app't. Meanwhile, I must struggle, straining to void and the urine has taken on a sweetish odor. Am also dealing with what I think is overflow incontinence and incontinence during orgasm. No infection symptoms so far. It could take awhile yet to get insurance issues sorted out. Does this sound like an emergency to you?
Also, I was on 90 mg of methadone per day for the pain and have weaned off over two months. Am aboout a week out from taking the last 5mg dose. Could the odd odor be the drug leaving my body? Most w/d symptoms are waning now but I still have soft tissue pain. Any comments much appreciated...thanks
