Hi well months ago right after I had become sexually active I started to experience pain while urinating followed by frequent urges. I drink cranberry juice all day every day, I never thought I would have this sort of problem. I immediately believed I had a UTI and went to the university's health center to get the prescription I would need. The prescription only helped for a little while. Also, when I urinated this small thing would come out almost like a small string of mucus. Could I have a sexually transmitted disease? Also, I recently became sexually active again and the pain and symptoms are back plus now my period which had been regular for years is now irregular, sometimes coming for one day a week before it is due and then it will be late. help!
