vaginal bleeding during sex

I am 20 going on 21 years old and for the first time ever i bleed, pretty heavily, during sex. This has never ever happened before and he was only my 4th sex partner and we did use protection. There was a pretty big pole of blood and afterwards i was in alot of pain in my vaginal area but after i took two advils it went away in like 3 hours.
I know it was not menstrual bleeding because it wasnt time for that and plus the bleeding stopped as soon as i finished having sex.
but when i wiped myself i still bleeded a little for like 2 days but after that nothing! I am not sure what happened but i was very scared and embarrassed! I was thinking maybe my what they call "cherry" was popped or something cause that has never happened before.
Im not too sure but please help! Im scared to have sex with him every again until i find out for sure what is wrong and if im going to ever bleed again!

Well, have you ever bled before during intercourse with your previous partners? And is your current partner fairly... larger in size compared to previous partners? To me, it sounds like a friction problem. Next time you try for sex i would suggest trying lube on. If your partner wishes to get to the bottom of this and figure out whats up i would think he would go along with it. Try Oral first as well if you haven't already, and if you don't want to or already have tried such... go for a libricant and see if it makes any difference. If not... let us know!

I just had sex for the first time yesterday an i think i am kinda having that same problem. I am to scared to go to the doctor but it is still bleeding an i am freaking out

I am 23 yrs old. I had a son when I was 18 vaginally. Then a daughter when I was 23 through a c-section. I have been on birth control since nov. 2003 and just recently started bleeding daily. I have never missed a pill and take as described. I have been bleeding for over a month. I seem to bleed a little in the morning and then none in the evening. If I have sex I will bleed during but not aftre until about an hour later and then I'll bleed for about 3 hours. This is very weird and my doc just blew me off and told me not to worry about it. I read somewhere that If I take 5 active bc pills one day then 4 the next then 3 then 2 then 1 then that will stop it. I have not tried it yet, but will begin the test tomorrow. would like to know if anyone else has tried or heard of this. I will keep it posted on how it turns out and if it works.
