vaginal discharge

I have been experiencing vaginal discharge problems. It's sord of a yellowish color and smells a little funny. I'm starting to get scared. I've had it for a week and a half. Do you have any ideas what it could be

It could be a sign of a sexually transmitted disease. These discharges usually smell funny.
Have you had unprotected sex lately?
It is not neceserilly an STD, I often get discharge before my periods or during ovulation, but usually they don’t smell but can be rather thick.

If you haven’t had sex, you shouldn’t worry that much. Sometimes an excessive use of antibiotics can cause fungus to multiply in your vagina. The fungus is called Candida and easily treated with antifungal creams. But you need to be diagnosed with it first.

I wouldn’t do anything on my own! I would rather see a gynecologist.
