Hi,
I am 24. Started hypomenorrhoea at the age of 17 after three years of normal periods. Since then my vagina and labia majora bacame very dry.. I feel hot burning sensation. When I insert a finger it seems burning. I have no infection. Never had sex. Can anybody tell me what's the cause? Is it because of hypomemerrhoea??? It bothers me a lot coz it is very irritating. I think there is no worse disease than vaginal irritation.. I have been taking homepathy medicines...not much help.... Pls suggest........ |

| Considering the burning sensation you are feeling you may have a yeast Infection. Go to the doctor and they can tell you for sure. Another thing it may be is simply dehydration. Try drinking some more fluids. Also, if you are on certain medications, you may be experiencing a side affect of vaginal dryness. It may also be a hormonal problem. If you stopped your period, your body may have caused vaginal dryness, as it is a common side affect of menopause. You can go to the doctor and get prescriptions to treat a dry vagina, or you could also apply KY jelly. This will keep the vaina lubricated for several hours. |

Thanks ,
I have no infection. Dryness problem is there for last 6 years. It is fine sometime, sometimes it gets worse. I do have hormonal imbalance which caused hypomenorrhoea. Homeopathy medicines brought it to normal but the same situalion returns once I stop the medicines. I feel this dryness is because of hormonal imbalance which causes heat production in uterus. There is nil vaginal discharge to absorb the heat....
What medical ailment is this?
Does it sound familiar? |
