vaginal odor with discharge and light bleeding

I've been having a bad vaginal odor with a frequent discharge ang light bleeding. I recently started taking birth control and 2 weeks after i started it. I've also had pain during urination. I've never had this before. Is it being caused by the birth control? If not what is and how can i get my vagina back to normal?????

I would suspect that the bleeding is a result of the birth control. As for the pain during urination and the bad smelling discharge, I would think maybe a UTI or some sort of vaginal infection. These could also be caused by the pill as the change in hormone levels can change the acidity of the vagina and make bacterial growth more favourable

im 23 years old, ive had sex way before and has never bled. in the last 8 months(from new years) ive had sex 3 times, once in june once in july and once in august. all protected. but the last 3 times ive had brownish spotting for no longer than a day, on and off. and i feel bloated. whats wrong with mee?? i recently switched from using ortho tricyclen lo to regular ortho trycyclen becuase of bad cramping during my period. now, however, i have a new problem. my period has become very heavy and when i start each new pack of pills i have a thin fishy discharge for the first week. i plan too see my doctor, but was wondering if this could be due to the pill or if its just an infection.
