i want to know has anyone who has had a vasectomy and it has been 6yrs ago was able to get their wife pregant now? i want to know for my older brother so is he going to be a daddy again or just getting played?   |

I am not sure what you wanted to ask……there are two options……1. if vasectomy reversal was possible and 2. Can vasectomy fail?
1. Vasectomy reversal is possible and there are two ways for doing it. The vasectomy reversal is done by microsurgery and it is a long procedure that mau last up to four hours. In one of the procedures, called vasovasostomy, ends of the previously cut vas deferens are being reconnected. In another procedure, called vasoepididymostomy, previously cut vas deferens is connected to the epididymis, a tube that lies at the back of the testicles and carries sperm. The first procedure is said to be better and have better pregnancy rates. Pregnancy rates following vasectomy reversal depend on the procedure, upon the surgery and the time passed between vasectomy and the reversal. For a period of 3 to 8 years, the pregnancy rates were 53% but successful pregnancy doesn’t depend only on the reversal but the egg’s quality, ovulation timing, etc
2. to answer you other question…..yes, pregnancy is possible even without having a reversal but this occurs if the procedure failed. The failure may be due to technical error but most often it happens due to so called recanalization, in which the two separated ends reconnect spontaneously. Every men should have a follow-up a year after the vasectomy to check if everything was in order but the problem is that only about 3% of males do. |

HERES the deal, NO BIRTH CONTROL IS 100%!!!!
I work in an abortion lcinic and see women who have been pregnanct after both a V and a tubal ligation, so sterilization is obviously not 100% THIS IS SOMETHING men and women need to understand. |
