veeeerrrrryy light bleeding but lasting a month!!!

Hey! I am 17 years-old and have my periods for 5 years.....till then my period had not been on schedule. However, this spring it was getting on schedule and right when I thought I was getting close to being normal it has been going on a month now. It was very light on the first week which was normal for me but on the second week it got a little heavy. Today it is getting light again like it is almost ending but I am not sure if it realy is. PLEASE HELP ME! It is starting to freak me out and I am scared to go to the doctors.

Hi, rather than worry and you did say you were embarrassed to go to the Doctors, l really think go along to the Doctors, he/she doesnt have to examine you, ask for a referral to a female gynocoloist , they specialise in womens problems, as this is their specialist area, periods and woman problems, they will make you feel very comfortable, you could even tell them you just want to talk, rather than be examined, its better than worrying. NOT EASY BEING FEMALE sometimes, with all the things we have to go through in comparrison to men. You will feel much better if you find out, rather than worry
