Hi, my fiance and I are vegetarians. We have a problem concerning our wedding. We would like to have a vegetarian wedding because our closest friends are also vegetarians, but our families disagree. Another thing is that we can't find a caterer who would organize our dream wedding, so I fear that we might have to give in to our parents. Is there some way for us to have the wedding we have imagined?
Hi, I think that you should not give up so easily. After all, this day is about you and you should show to everybody your views on life. If you have asked ordinary caterers to organize a vegetarian wedding, it is no wonder that you could not find the one that would do it. You should talk to someone in your local vegetarian organization about vegetarian caterers and restaurants that could organize your wedding. Because you will have a number of guests that are not vegetarians you should talk to the caterer about the menu that will be susceptible to them as well. I am sure that if you talk to your parents about how you feel, they will be more than understanding for your beliefs.
