yesterday i was diagnosed with virtigo. the docotor said it was probably due to the fact i've a double ear infection for 2 or 3 weeks.

at that particular time, i had only one "spell" of dizziness, causing me to feel sick and fall down. it did not last very long - 5 minuets at the most. i layed down, shut my eyes and i was fine. so i wasnt too concerned. as of late last night the incidents of virtigo are more frequent, a bit more severe and are lasting a lot longer.

is this something i should be worried about? should i have a follow up visit? how long do these spells normally go on for? is there anything i can do?
i've been prescribed anti-biotics and nasal spray. i'm also taking OTC motion sickness pills.

i've been off work for two days now, and i've been instructed that i must come in tomorrow (saturday), but seeing as i work in a pretty dangerous enviroment, i'm not too sure that coming in would be a good idea - unless my symptoms calm down quite a bit. if i were to fall down at my place of work, the odds of me being injured are high.
