very late period...pregnant?

Hi, three months ago i had sex with my boyfriend. I was on the pill, although i had messed up taking it a bit and missed a day or 2, and used no other protection. Since then i stayed on the pill and had three normal regular periods. just over 8 weeks ago i came off the pill and have not had a period since. My stomach also feels and looks swolen although i have not eaten differently or put on weight anywhere else, i have also been sick a few times. I did a home pregnancy test but it was negative. could it be wrong after three months? Is this probably a result of coming off of the pill or could i be pregnant? Please help...any suggestions?

It could be that your body is still trying to get used to being off birthcontrol...I have had an IUD removed in jan and still no period or pregnancy...I would say that if this continues to go back to your doctor and get a check up...It could be something else causeing you not to have your period...They can also give you meds to get your period started again...
