very short sharp stabbing pains at young age

since the i was 8 years of age ive been getting pains in the left side of my chest that are very painfull but only last a few seconds 5~10 but have really scared me before but they only ever happen about 1~6 times a year , as ive got older theyve been getting worst and now im 13 nearly 14 im starting to get worried because i dont know what it is and all the symptoms are there for heart problems but i dont know what to do . every one says to me that ive asked have said its growing pains put i know its not cause it wouldnt have affected one area for 6 years and is so painfull that i cant move/speak/breath or do anything till its stoped happening . it can happen from playing football to just sitting watching tele doing nothing at all , it just happens out of no were and im not preared for when it happens and i keep thinking "what if the next time it happens i die" . havent been to docters or hospital so thats probrably wise idea .

(im only 13 so im a bit stupid , ive just started getting really worried lately cause ive been showin all the symptoms for loads of heart diseases that i havent had before . i just posted on here cause ive been searching for stuff about these pains and i found thins forum . sorry if its in the wrong place .)
