You all should check out info on Candida Albicans. Just do a Google search for symptoms. After 7 years of symptoms that had me going to the doctor monthly, I finally found out that I have this. I looked pregnant all the time even though I am 5'6" and weigh 115lbs. Candida Albicans can cause this bloating as well as a handful of other problems you may be surprised to find out. Now that I have been put on a special diet by my doctor, my problems are going away after almost a decade.

Good luck!
here, here. also -- wheat was/is a culprit of mine. i have both a bloated tummy and neck when i eat wheat. the elimination diet mixed with a healthy dose of probiotics may help with the belly. also: stress is a huge issue with protruding belly, as stated earlier in the thread.

I have the same symptoms. 5'5" was 110 in feb. now 120, but my stomache is so hard and one big bulge I can't even suck it in all the way anymore. I was in the hospital in Jan. was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis/crohns. Haven't had any horrible relative symptoms to that now, just this huge hard bulge, driving me nuts. I don't eat very healthy and try not to eat as much as poss. after my hos. stay tho I did start eating a lot more because I got scared. I think it may have to do with not eating enough or healthy???? I am just sick of getting misdiagnosed. [/b]
