Hi. i have been masturbating for years now. i usually use my hand held shower. the first time i did it i bled a little bit, so i figured my hymen was broken. But it didnt hurt. i kept on masturbating like that, and im afraid that ive lost my virginity, have i?
i know people say you can only lose your virginity if a penis penetrates you, but i want to be VERY sure.
ill tell you why. i come from a pretty conservative family, and im getting married soon. i have never had sex before, but the first time i do it with my husband, will he think that im not a virgin? |

Hi Blah,
Congratulations to you on your upcoming wedding, may you enjoy your marriage as much as I have enjoyed mine.
The short answer is no. No you have not lost virginity, and no, he will not be able to tell that you masturbate with a shower nozzle.
The only thing that will limber a woman's vulva and vagina noticeably is child-birth.

as ec said no he won't know and no you haven't lost your virginity! only penetration with a penis causes you to lose your virginity!

Yes, let me echo what the others have said before.
Your husband to be will not be conducting a thorough medical exam of you, if he has any tact and sensitivity. He'll probably be so nervous that he won't be thinking about your status at all.
Bluntly, you haven't had penetration, so you're still a virgin. But nobody is going to know one way or the other, so don't worry about it.
Second, years ago there were concerns that some Indian husbands could tell on the wedding night that their bride was not a virgin. The only way they could tell would have been if their bride had said something like, "No, don't do it that way, I like it more when my partner does THIS...."
And the likelihood of that happening, are not great.
So, relax, enjoy the marriage, and grow together.
(You might just find it fun to discover how much you will learn from each other in bed!) |
