is this possible?
i missed a period and then noticied symptoms of an urinary infection, frequent urination, foul odor, less urine, tingling/numbness and slowly swelling and it seemed very possible that i could of come in contact with bacteria... the symptoms were not that bad so i didnt worry
a few weeks later i began to notice abdominal swelling mainly after eating, ankle swelling, all kinds of swelling, black stool with a mucus, bad taste in mouth, back pain, and just a few other weird things..
i am beginning to think that a infection got severe and caused something else. I learned that a severe infection could cause gastritis and my symptoms are similar to the symptoms of gastritis.
could a severe urinary infection cause another problem such as gastritis??? |

Severe infections can cause problems within the body elsewhere, but it would need to be very severe.
A UTI rarely leads to anything gastrointestinal.
Infections do not go away by themselves, if you really had an infection it would take antibiotics to cure. |
