Hi...Im 17 and I weigh only 105lbs.
I really want to gain some more weight...I eat like a pig...meaning anything thats placed in front of me....yet I still can't seem to gain any weight...I gained 2lbs (107) over the Holidays...but now I dropped back down to 105. Im a dancer...so I excerise daily....any tips for me?? |

yer im the same. im 17, 4ft 9 and 6st and i just eat everthing because i know i can, it does really annoys me though as i cant get jeans cus there either too long or i cnt get em passed my hips. ANYWAYS... if you dnt alreddy, try to not snack as much troughout the day and eat all of a proper meal! ive found out the boilled eggs and omega 3 are good for weight gain. also try build up milkshakes they dnt taste tht bad jus dnt have 2 many!! for know count yourself lucky some people imspire to be like you. and i wouldnt worry as some people are naturally think. gud luk neways with the weight gain, hpe this helps xx |

I'm 14 yrs old n i used 2 be very skinny n i mean SKINNY :S
My doctor recommended eating 2 eggs daily:
1 in da morning
1 in da evening.
Alsoo a banana in da morning with a mug full of milk!
OMG BELIEVE MEE HUN IT SOOOO WRKED
i dont look fat or anything....i just luk healthy and my cheeks have gone a tiny bit bigger which makes me look fresh and bright now.

Well, I have the same problem as the rest of you. I'm skinny. (16 years; 5'0" exactly; 84 lbs.)
However, this is my normal size, despite the fact that it puts me below the 5th percentile in the doctor's growth chart. (That means I'm really little, height-wise and weight-wise.) Most likely, if you eat normally, you don't really need to change your diet. By the time we move into our early 20's, our metabolisms will start to slow down, because we'll have reached physical maturity. Then we'll start gaining weight naturally, even if our diet stays the same.
Think of it this way -- if you're skinny now, most likely, you'll be able to retain a good figure during adulthood, rather than going from normal to plump. It's just a matter of time. =) |
