| it was not too long after this bump appeared on my nipple after i had developed breasts. this bump has grown over the years. YES YEARS. its been about 10 years now. its not HUGE. but its noticeable. you can see it when i have no bra on with a shirt on. i wouldnt say its a third nipple. but i dont know what it is. its about quarter the size of the erect portion of my areola. now here is the kicker, of course as a teenager, you get a pimple you pop it. i thought it was maybe a pimple. i didnt know any better. and i pinched at it ...this white stuff came out of it. not of the consistency of puss but a lot thicker and not wet. to this day i can still do that and get the same response. ive never had it looked at. the bump itself is harder than the surrounding tissues. and it looks like a scar on my nipple if its not erect..but it becomes 3D when my nipple does too. |

Considering it appeared in puberty with raging hormones I wouldn’t think it is dangerous. However, I would have it checked just for the piece of my mind.
I also have small lumps on my nipples, I have them on both and they look like rough nipple surface. My dermatologist said these were normal. However, mine are not that visible as yours. I would think that it is some kind of oil gland formation but oil glands are present on areolas and not nipples, so I can’t say for sure what your bump could be, I guess only a doc could. |

| It sounds to me like it's a cyst. Get it checked out by a dermatologist. It's not a big deal. They can be removed surgically or in other ways. |
