Hi. I take accutane to treat my acne. However, my problem still exists and now I have a new one. I feel severe pain in my upper stomach, spreading to my back, every time I take accutane. I would like to stop taking it, but I don`t know what to do with my acne. what after accutane?

Hi. Severe pain in your stomach is one of possible serious side effects of accutane. You should stop using accutane at once. Some other serious side effects of accutane include depressed mood, numbness, blurred vision, hearing problems, seizure, loss of appetite, severe diarrhea, fever, body aches and bone pain. There are many other products for acne. You have numerous OTC products. However, I don`t think they are very effective. You may try minocycline pills. I suffer from acne too. I have tried minocycline pills and I already see the improvement.
