Hi, at what age should children be left alone for the first time? Is it possible to determine it, or it is individual?

Hi, evaluating if your child is ready for self-care is a delicate question. If you put trust in your child, it will feel more self-confident but if you overestimate it, you may feel sorry ever after. There are both risks and opportunities associated with leaving a child alone at home. There are some special efforts you must make to teach your child how to act if there is somebody ringing on the bell, on the phone or if any accident occurs. Also, question of loneliness, fear and insecurity must be discussed; a child needs to feel good and secure. In any case don’t push it to do more, than it can handle.
